The CFK Fellowship is a structured volunteer community for young Nigerians who want to contribute to something that lasts — and grow meaningfully while doing it.
CFK's programmes are long-term by design. CTRI will take years to cover every WAEC subject. WikiQuestions will take years to digitise every past question. Model NASS runs indefinitely. Progress is slow and results are distant.
Without structure, meaning, or a genuine sense of belonging, even committed contributors lose the thread. Some burn out. Others drift away — not because they stopped caring, but because there was nothing holding them in community with each other.
The CFK Fellowship is the answer to that problem. It builds the conditions that make long-term commitment possible: structure, progression, and a community that sees you as a person, not just a producer.
Every Fellow contributes to CFK's work — on a programme or in an operational support role. The community exists in service of a mission, and membership means participating in that mission actively.
The Fellowship holds regular meetings — some with invited speakers, others as internal conversations about growth and direction. These are not optional extras. They are how the Fellowship stays a community rather than a task force.
Fellows advance through four levels — Foundation, Associate, Senior, and Principal — with defined expectations, advancement portfolios, and formal recognition at each stage. Progression is earned, not automatic.
Every Fellow works within one of four tracks. Programme Fellows contribute directly to CFK's educational resources. Admin and Support Fellows keep everything running so Programme Fellows can focus on their best work.
See the four tracks →The Fellowship is open to undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and young professionals in the early years of their careers — people in a formative period where structured, community-oriented contribution can shape who they become.
What matters is not your background or your credentials. It is your genuine desire to contribute to something larger than yourself, and your willingness to commit to the structure that makes that contribution sustainable.
Read the Fellowship CompanionYoung Nigerians begin contributing informally to CTRI, WikiQuestions, and Model NASS as volunteers, before any fellowship structure existed.
CFK runs its first structured cohort — an experiment in bringing contributors together around a shared mission for four focused months.
Rather than disbanding after the founding cohort, CFK builds a permanent progression system. Existing contributors are placed at levels based on their history. The CFK Fellowship becomes an institution.
The Fellowship runs its second intake, this time with a full progression pathway, advancement portfolios, and a clear structure for long-term contribution.
15 new Foundation Fellows join across four tracks, bringing the total Fellowship community to over 35 active contributors.
