Sunday Alayemi

Sunday Alayemi is a CFK CTRI Volunteer, where he supports educational resource development for secondary school students in Nigeria, with a special focus on Mathematics including math textbooks for WASSCE and JAMB exam prep. He joined in February 2026 and has since continued building out this work.

I joined Care For Knowledge because I wanted my effort to reach further. Studying mechanical engineering had already trained me to think in terms of systems and structures that outlast me, so it felt natural to look for a place where I could build something with that same kind of lasting value outside my personal work and classroom. What I didn't expect was how much the work itself would shape me back. It has taught me something about patience, and about the quiet discipline of doing careful work for people you'll likely never meet. I'm still learning what consistency looks like when the reward isn't immediate. CTRI is where I'm figuring that out.
